Rehabilitation of one of the oldest padel courts in the world. If the padel was born in Acapulco, at Corcuera’s house and from there it came to Marbella, the next step it took is to go to Bilbao, the courts of the Real Club Jolaseta being one of the oldest in the world.
At that time the courts had some different measurements to today’s courts, so they needed a rehabilitation to adapt them, and they continued to be regulatory.
One meter had to be demolished on each wall both 2m high and 3m high and remove the existing curb on the courts.
Taking advantage of the work, it was decided to change the existing mesh for an electro-welded mesh like those usually used for glass padel courts, and it was decided to put this mesh in white.
The walls so that the change could be noticed and the padel ball could be better seen, it was rightly decided to put them in blue.
And when they were at work, it was also decided that such a court should enjoy having a new padel grass, a blue fibrillated grass.
This is the result of the padel court.
