Juan Antonio Senent and Pablo Lozano, after many years without playing together for professional reasons, got together and as if time did not pass they won again in a tournament of the Valencian padel circuit.
It wasn’t an easy task, as the first rounds they suffered more than expected, winning their 1st and 2nd round matches in three sets. For already in the quarterfinals and semifinals with bigger opponents, they can easily win their matches in 2 sets with a lot of strokes.
On the other side of the draw, No. 1 seed Josette Rico and Luis Parra won all their matches without problems, all in 2 sets to reach the final.
The final was played on the Manzasport panoramic court, installed in the City of Sciences and Arts of Valencia, coinciding with the PPT tournament, which made it the Valencian tournament with the largest audience attending the matches and the final.
The final was strange, since the first set Lozano – Senent easily won 6/2, where Parra – Rico were not even their shadow, but as good “princes” of the Valencian padel they woke up and the second set won 6/2 to force and take the match to an exciting 3 set, in which the experience, grit and seniority of the Lozano – Senent couple made them win by 6/3, thus achieving the championship, the points and the prize.
