Bergamonte Tennis and Padel Club

In this club, Manzasport faced a major challenge as it was necessary to refurbish two walled padel courts that already had one wall in place. The existing walled courts were already obsolete in regulatory terms, as in 1998 there was a change in the regulations regarding padel court dimensions. For the refurbishment work our staff had to remove one metre of the walls on the sides and then paint them in blue. We also made the change from simple mesh to white electro-welded mesh. The grass on the padel courts had suffered from wear and tear and green fibrillated grass was installed.

In addition to the refurbishment of the walled padel courts, two Pro Model glass padel courts were also installed. The structure of the courts installed was white, and the chosen grass was fibrillated in green. For lighting on the glass padel courts, the club manager opted for an LED lighting system, with a Manzasport pole to ensure correct lighting on court during play. Eight spotlights were installed on each padel court. The sand for the grass infill was rounded silica sand 0.2-0.8 mm thick. The glass used was 10 mm tempered. Extra nets were installed on all courts to prevent balls going astray during play.

The Bergamonte Tennis and Padel Club is based in the town of Pobla de Farnals in Valencia. This club has fantastic facilities.
