Padel initiation: What should be your goals?

Padel Stroke by Manzasport

In the initiation to padel as in any other sport, it is necessary to set goals or intentions with respect to the practice of the sport itself. That is why it is necessary to focus the learning of a new sport to the realization of exercises to achieve the goals set.

So, if you start your padel classes, we advise you to put yourself in the hands of qualified instructors because they know the methodology of padel and they will know how to develop and implement a plan to introduce you to the sport, but also to ensure that you achieve the goals set.

You are new to padel, you already have a padel racket, new balls, a padel instructor and a padel court to play on, now you just have to pay attention to this list of objectives for your learning process to be balanced.

  1. Get to know the padel, learn the general rules of the game, which you will surely memorize with practice. But you should know something about this sport, types of padel courts, sports equipment to play it, ….
  2. Know and practice the most basic strokes. And although it may seem an unimportant thing to you, holding the racket correctly will help you a lot in the game.
  3. Attitude: in addition to practice and play, the most important thing at the beginning of the sport is a positive attitude and predisposition.
  4. Get into the tactics of the game, differentiate attack and defense. And put them into play in a game with people of your level.

To all of you who are just getting started with padel, we hope you’ll get as passionate about it as we did many years ago.
