Padel Courts in Lyon

Working alongside our partner in France Conca Sport, this sports project has resulted in 7 Manzasport padel courts being installed in Lyon. We’d like to thank Esprit Padel for the trust placed in us and Conca Sport for the great work it does in spreading the word about padel in France.

Esprit Padel is a sports club that has 6 indoor padel courts, 4 Pro Model courts and 2 Panorámica Pro Model courts. The seventh Manzasport padel court is an outdoor Panorámica Pro Model court.

The structure of all 7 padel courts is black, which contrasts with the yellow of the lighting poles, the client’s corporate colour.

The grass installed on the 7 Manzasport padel courts is the Mondo STX Super Court, the same grass used for the World Padel Tour competition. Top quality grass for a sports facility known for its quality, elegance and good taste, which we hope will delight padel players who enjoy our sport at Esprit Padel.

Mondo’s STX Supercourt artificial grass system stands out for the textured effect of its filaments, which provide greater rotational and longitudinal traction ability (Grip), increasing grip and therefore improving safety and performance as players move around the court. The ball bounce is always regular and even on all points of the court from the outset and the visual appearance is perfect, with an even, regular colour everywhere on the court

Silica sand with rounded edges and 0.2-0.8 mm thickness was used for infilling the installed grass surface. But in this case, as the Mondo STX Super Court grass was used, only 1500 kilos of sand was needed on each court instead of the 3500 kilos used for other types of grass.

The 7 padel courts have 8 200W LED spotlights to ensure correct lighting on the padel courts during play.
