For the second year in a row, Ciudad Real will host the Street Padel “La Caixa” tournament. The venue is the Rey Juan Carlos Sports Center, where the preliminary stages of the tournament will be held, and the Plaza de la Diputación, where the bulk of the events will be held. Such as padel tournament, padelito for children, training for all ages, marathon padel, pro-am, etc..
At the same time, the I Ciudad Real City Hall Tournament will take place, bringing players from different geographical locations. Special mention should be made of the presence of Richi de las Heras (second world champion 2004 with Spain), Jordi Muñoz and Aday Santana (couple-revelation year 2006 and 3rd world champion with Spain) and members of the Spanish team that will play the European in Belgium.
The dates of the celebration are from April 23 to May 1, and registration is open until April 21 at 12 noon. You can do it at “La Caixa” offices in Ciudad Real and/or by calling 646606203.
The champions of the 1st male category will receive a cheque of 1,000€, the runners-up 600€ and the semi-finalists 200€, the 2nd category and the female category will distribute prizes in the form of sports equipment worth 3,000€.
